Bayonne Public Information Center Held

The New Jersey Turnpike Authority held the second in-person Public Information Center for the first project of the Newark Bay-Hudson County Extension Improvements Program. The Public Information Center took place on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, in the Woodrow Wilson School #10 gymnasium from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. The event followed the format of an open house and included remarks by City of Bayonne Mayor Jimmy Davis and Assemblyman William Sampson IV, a presentation, and opportunities for residents to ask questions and speak one-on-one with Turnpike Authority officials and members of the Program team. There were information stations around the room so that residents could learn more about the first project, the reconstruction between Interchanges 14 and 14A, and its benefits and opportunities.

Bayonne Mayor Pens Op-Ed Supporting the Program

Bayonne Mayor Jimmy Davis recently published an op-ed in the Jersey Journal reaffirming his support for the Newark Bay-Hudson County Extension Improvements Program. In the op-ed he explains why the Extension bridges, particularly the Newark Bay Bridge, must be replaced. He also outlined how the Program, and especially the first project, will benefit Bayonne and New Jersey.

Bayonne Public Information Center Announced

Join the New Jersey Turnpike Authority for an in-person Public Information Center for the first project of the Newark Bay-Hudson County Extension Improvements Program. The Public Information Center will take place on Tuesday, May 28th, 2024, in the Woodrow Wilson School #10 gymnasium from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Woodrow Wilson School #10 is located at 101 W 56th Street, Bayonne, NJ 07002.

The Public Information Center will follow the format of an open house and include remarks by City of Bayonne Mayor Jimmy Davis, a presentation, and opportunities for residents to ask questions and speak one-on-one with Turnpike Authority officials and members of the Program team.
